Now, for the juicy evidential stuff. She hit multiple nails on allllll the heads!
Most importantly, to me... and I know this will read strangely to some... she helped me to understand why I was unable to connect with my deceased father. I won't get into the personal details but her compassion around such a sensitive topic/strained relationship was incredibly comforting. She even knew I inherited my Dad's eyes!!! I'm happy to say that thanks to the advice from Iman I've since had a visit from my father! Strange to think we may mend our relationship 13 years after his death but better late than never.
She also saw my Uncle wearing a big coat in the spring. Just as he did in his physical life! Due to a congenital heart condition/poor circulation, my Uncle was always cold. Knowing that he's part of my "spiritual crew" is both humbling and beautiful!
Most impressively though, she was able to connect to the soldier that I have seen frequently since childhood, without knowing who he was. I've seen him at the creek behind our home and even in my dreams.
Turns out, the land in which my childhood home is built... wait for it... was formerly a Confederate Civil War Encampment!? My family has been on that land for several generations. None in my family knew the previous land owner allowed use as an encampment for soldiers making their the way to Fort Fisher, NC. It was lost in history. Until my read with Iman, who didn't know anything about my location and specifically mentionned the soldier was there no later than the year 1870! My family and I did some research and came across an old photo of the actual tents. Merely yards away from my childhood home. Mind-blown!!!
Iman even advised me how to reach out to the soldier, we call Gabriel. I took her advice and haven't had a dream of him since. I like to think he's still on the creek. Reciting poetry and enjoying the surroundings as much as I do!
Iman is a genuinely caring person and it shines through in her readings. Throughout the entire process, she was incredibly kind and considerate. By the time we were finished, I felt like we were lifelong friends. Not two strangers literally halfway across the world from each other!
